That was smart of nick in firing Stephanie. He didn't do that to spite her or because he hated her but as a favor because he knows himself that her rightful place is with forester creations and by firing her she can return back there. However if nick let her quit then she would be stuck as these contracts wouldn't allow her to work or be a part of another competing fashion house if she voluntarily quits. So nick was pretty cool here. He genuinely cares for Stephanie and that's why he did what he did. The way he made it sound though was meant to be as a joke and not to be mean or heartless in anyway and Stephanie knew that.

I also really miss Nick Marone even though Jack Wagner has moved on. B&B feels so diminished if your are not a fan to certain chararcters Liam traingle has gone way too long be loyal to one woman and stick with it for a long mariage.

I really liked the way Stephanie's tenure ended at Jackie M's. Started out as enemies and became friends. This was hard for Stephanie and the gang but Nick understood she had to go. As for Brooke, wow she's got nerve to boss Taylor around what to do with her shares and whether she can afford it. So arrogant.

Exactly! This show hasn't been anywhere close to the same since 2009 to 2010 at the most. That's when this show has ended for me.

The show was at its prime from 87 till 2000 and still had a few great storylines after that but I think from about 2010 it certainly has been on a downward path. They should have ended the series when Stephanie died in my opinion. Love or hate her ( I loved her) Susan Flannery as Stephanie was the heart and soul of the show. A remarkable actress. I think she saw that the writing and production values were just declining and I dont blame her for leaving. Honestly I have tried to watch it in recent years but it really is pretty boring and repetitive and I gave up.

I lost interest in 2008. It became too much of incest storylines, and just characters sleeping around. Charm and beauty was gone! 😭😭😭

IMO this was when B&B was still watchable. I truly feel that this was the last really good season. Season 24 wasn’t as good, especially with the real problems of B&B showing in the 25th season (specifically in 2012).
