Ridge loved Taylor in the 90s. That's why Brooke was with Eric and Thorne and Deacon and Grant Chambers because she couldn't have Ridge at those times. Brooke was only no.1 with Ridge when Taylor was "dead". The writers changed this dynamic after 2005 (when Taylor came back from the dead the second time).
