So, Hope is essentially addicted after 2 pills and she wants the pills because she's stressed, and she's stressed because she got caught in a lie and got called out for it. Atleast when Steffy got addicted, she was really in pain and not just being an overly sensitive woman child like Hope. if hope didn't always u s act so high and mighty, the criticism for her sleeping with a married man wouldn't have been nearly as bad, but she got busted being a hypocrite.

I saw the change from the first pill, it could be that these are a higher strength or she is taking them more often, anxiety pills if your body doesn't need the whole dose that is what they will do and now she is using them for the smallest bit of normal every day anxiety instead what they were actually designed for.
