Im a man whose mother was addicted to B&B.. The day I peered into what she was so drawn to..it was this episode, and I cried..I had heard the name Stephanie Forrester over and over for years. When my mother died years before this episode it ended years of conflict between us..She was so much like the character she described on tv.. So you can imagine why this was heartbreaking to me. I saw my mother all over again..my heart hurt over the regret of losing my mother...it was ironic that this show I've never seen until this, that I had realize how much I loved her. She never told me that she loved me

I would agree with The Bold & The Beautiful not being the same without Susan Flannery as Stephanie. B&B also hasn't been the same without Darlene Conley as Sally either. It's been 15 years since Darlene Conley passed away, and I'm under the impression that the Bell family isn't quite ready to give Darlene Conley and Sally that much deserved send-off. In the event that B&B gets around to addressing Darlene Conley passing by writing Sally's passing into the story, it'd be fitting for B&B to bring back Mick Cain as C.J., Daniel MacVicar as Clarke, Patrika Darbo as Shirley, and Ashley Tosoro as Kimberly to be included in the send-off episodes. We also have yet to see B&B address the passings of Michelle Davison (Ruthanne), Phyllis Diller (Gladys), and Joseph Mascolo (Massimo) in the show's storyline.

@@erickirk6966 ITA!!! B&B just isn't the same without Stephanie and Sally. They had such a golden opportunity to address Darlene's passing when they brought on the other Spectra's a few years ago. They could have revived Spectra Fashions with the OG Sally's influence (via phone and internet) and just as everyone is saying "Spectra's back baby!" they all learn that OG Sally has died knowing that her company is revived and on top finally. Such a wasted opportunity.

I'm an oltl fan myself, and I watched B&B before oltl every day for years. Every show has the power actors, the actors, that if they weren't there, the show would fail. Susan Flannery is definitely the captain of B&B. And Katherine Kelly Lang Just like on my show, it was Erika Slezak as Viki and Robin Strassers Dorian that was the glue.

Now 30 years later seeing this emotional scene is mindblowing! Love and Hate. I think Stephanie grew to respect Brooke because she was a fighter and didn't back down. I think Stephanie began to see that even with Brooke's many faults, she was a woman who didn't cower or let anyone intimidate her. Stephanie saw a little of herself in Brooke--a woman with passion and vision who could at times be cutthroat when it came to business and getting what she wants. Brooke loved Stephanie even when she didn't reciprocate. Of course, it was hard for Stephanie to wrap her mind and arms around the thought of extending herself emotionally to Brooke as a member of the family. But the impending death brought everything full circle and made for true and real moments of honesty between the two of them, and I am glad we got to see that play out.

10/17/20: Watching QUACK Hayes, telling Katie about her grief over losing Phoebe, made me GAG!! Phoebe realized that her sanctimonious mother was a hypocrite and, THAT'S why they had the blowup in the car. Taylor had NO problem being with Rick, after Ridge drove a wedge between him & Phoebe. And, THAT'S when Phoebe saw her mother's FAKERY. Moments before Phoebe caused her OWN death, she told Taylor how grossed out, she was, by her.
