Well Rick is Eric's son and Rick has worked at Forrester for several years and was also "President" for several years already. I never felt like Eric ever bonded with any of his grandchildren to be honest. Nevertheless, This show is so inconsistent with it's logic. CEO Ridge supposedly has the power to name Thomas interim CEO, then all of sudden, Stephanie has the power to "decide" who is CEO over Ridge's decision while he is in Paris suddenly unbothered by what goes on at Forrester? Stephanie only owned 25% at this time, how the in the world does she have power to appoint Eric CEO? This "loop hole" didn't prevent Eric from selling Stephanie's WHOLE Company to Nick, then back to Eric, then to Bill, then back to (Stephanie, Eric and Bill, Steffy, Ridge and Thomas) but it can override an "irrevocable trust" signing her shares over to Thomas upon her death and give her the unflinching ability to decide who is the CEO 5 mins before she dies? This show is an insult to the viewer's intelligence. I can't believe I am watching this crap.
