Yeah, THIS is the sweetest I've ever seen Hatie Katie be to Steffy! (Even though they're friends in real life) It took me awhile but Hatie Katie grew on me. At least Hope was like 20 years old. A 33 year old Steffy bought a baby like 2 days after Hope lost her baby and named Hope's husband the father of her child. Taylor also thought that it's destiny that Beth died and she hoped that Hope will divorce Liam so she could be with Thomas and replace Caroline for Douglas. And Taylor was in her late 50's at the time... I bet you didn't think they were being cruel and immature. These double standards are hilarious... I get it. Hope is Brookes child so she has to be the villain in your eyes, but you guys fail to see that Steffy is just a younger Brooke.

@@ankina86 Well, I don't think I suggested they were any better. I'm a fan of the show but don't really have strong favourites and on balance at this point, I'd say they are all crazy! Though Steffy sleeping with Bill while married to Liam, and Taylor shooting Bill in revenge, probably takes the cake! I was merely referring to Hope's behaviour in this scene, especially her insensitivity to Liam who just lost a child. I've always had a soft spot for LOPE actually (when Kim Matula was Hope that is), but Hope comes across as a real self-serving. ice-maiden here, bordering on psychopathic. Even more unbecoming since she always pretends to be 'the good one', so virtuous and moral.

You got burned before and as much you want to call it manipulation none of that is true. Liam will always be in love with two women, and you can’t start a relationship when you just got out of one. Katie pulled off HER ring, so Bill hopped in bed with Brooke cuz "the marriage is over". Liam speaking in past tense here just cuz a ring came off. Um, no. No divorce papers have been drawn up yet let alone signed. Just like current day, Hope shows Thomas her empty wedding ring finger & they proceed to have sex for like 3 days straight like she was officially divorced...It's just silly cuz a ring coming off is NOT an official, legal end to justify hopping into someone's bed or jumping onto the next opportunity that crosses your path!

Steffy bought a child that would be Beth's age like 2 days after the funeral and named Liam the father and it was not only a miscarriage. Hope actually saw a dead baby and believed it was hers which is 10 times more traumatizing. Taylor immediately saw an opportunity for Thomas and Hope to be together so Steffy could have Liam and Douglas could have a mother... Woman in her 20's doesn't get a pass, but Steffy in her 30's and Taylor in her 50's did get a pass for their fantasy built on Beth's grave. These double standards are hilarious.
