Ridge's sadness is starting to kick in about not being there when Steph was dying but Steph demanded that Ridge not be there but still he should have been there anyway. She was his mother and he didn't get to say his farewell and his goodbye to Stephanie. And I know that men don't usually cry well not really but this is Ridge Forrester for God sake. He's allowed to feel sad and he's allowed to cry over missing his mother and not able to see her before she passed away. I don't blame Ridge. He loved Stephanie and she loved Ridge more than she loved Thorne, Felicia and Kristen. Ridge is Stephanie's eldest child and eldest son and was the first of Eric and Stephanie Forrester's four children to become a parent. Ridge and Taylor gave Eric and Stephanie three grandchildren Thomas Forrester and twin daughters Steffy and Phoebe Forrester. Sadly Phoebe was killed in a car crash with Rick Forrester as the designated driver and cause of the crash. Thorne and Darla gave Eric and Stephanie a third granddaughter Alexandria"Aly" Forrester. so Steffy didnt return to be spiteful she returned because she didnt like the way Hope was treating Liam as we know he never wanted to let go of Steffy even though Hope offered herself on a plate lol then Wyatt became a factor and Hope loved the sparring between brothers not once thinking how it could affect others liam wasnt ready to forgive Steffy thats why he didnt ask her to stay this time but if Wyatt had met Steffy now Hope would be history so could have been a meeting of the two before the Quinn Liam storyline The only time i liked Brooke was her sadness then the petals fell

Steffy hanging on to Quinn's words about Hope and Liam, shows Steffy has not give up on her manipulating ways the Merry go Round begins AGAIN and I already know it's all Brookes fault lol, and Ridge gone 15 months and expects Brooke to be waiting! In ALL those months not once did he try to get Taylor back says volumes about all the love SOME like to claim he had for Taylor. Taylor was then still is second choice!

Maybe he didn't have the same feelings for Taylor in the later years, but go back to the early years of the show. Brooke constantly chased after Ridge, whether he was married to Caroline or later to Taylor. Taylor and Ridge ALWAYS had a much more honest relationship than Brooke and Ridge, as Brooke selfishly only thinks about herself without regard for others. And often enough she only gets Ridge, when Taylor was "dead". All FC men were stupid enough to settle for what she did best. Because she didn't have much more to offer than the sexual, on the contrary. How often has she kept important things from Ridge so that she or her brood would feel better? She is just a partner for the One, nothing more.
