I’d say it’s probably to keep him from being too fussy on set. That’s Heather Tom’s real son Zane playing Will, so I’m sure some milk and being around mom is comforting to him. Babies/little kids on set can be unpredictable especially when filming an episode can take hours. They can get fussy or sometimes too talkative when other actors are saying their lines. Usually, a bottle calms them long enough to complete the scene whilst still being apart of the scene, if that makes sense. :)
