Hope and Ivy are nice but they never understood and accept that Steffy and Liam is much more than a simple love affair. Liam confessed to it when he accompanied Steffy for his second pregnancy for an ultrasound. He loved him right away when he saved him from drowning. They love each other very much and complement each other, they are also friends and lovers like Stéphanie and Éric. I agree that their start was chaotic with a lot of misunderstanding and manipulation. But the facts are there, there is such an alchemy and connection between these two. Brooke knows this, and that's why she always tries to keep Steam away, even in 2020. Brooke pushes her daughter towards Liam. But even now, Hope is with Liam today, sooner or later he will return to Steffy. Brooke understood that the Steam connection is too big and passionate.
