It's exactly what Liam said Aly never forgave Taylor for killing Darla and she was taking all her anger out on Maya but mainly Steffy since she's Taylor's daughter. The line and all the other crap didn't matter. When it came down to it, it was the fact Aly never got over Darla's death. Thorne realized that. That's why he broke up with Taylor. It wouldn't have mattered if the line was based on Mother Teresa, Aly hated the line because it was Steffy's line.
