There is some good somewhere inside of her. She isn't openly vulnerable to each other. Look at her recent interactions with Carter. Brooke is truly morbidly obsessed with her daughter's life. She has to control everything, Hope must always be in the front row and has never to "lose". Brooke should urgently see a psychiatrist and work on the problem that she obviously feels a lot of guilt over Hope's origin story. She doesn't constantly make such a sick fuss with any of her other children.
