She was not afraid of him till he pushed his way into her apartment. She didn't think he was going to hurt her It wasn't a thought in her mind that his mind was wanting something more. So of course at this point she is at ease with him, walking her home, buying a cone. She thinks he is a decent guy. She wanted to open herself up to making friends

Is it just me, or does Katie seem really immature for a 17-year-old? She is really sweet, and I like her more than Donna, but everyone treats her like she is a 12- or 13-year-old. She has been so sheltered and seems so fragile that it's like her family are not letting her grow up.
