Eric worshipped Brooke, and they both knew it. Beth trusted Brooke, yet she plotted against her with Stephanie. As we will see later, trusting Brooke isn't smart. No one knows better than Eric, Beth, Bridget, and Katie.

Yeah, I can see it now as it’s getting closer and closer to her signing the contract. But like Ridge and Eric, Connor is an alpha male who is competing with them. So he’s playing the same game. And at the end of the day, Brooke keeps calling Connor for help. He doesn’t always come to her. She called him the night after he stayed at Karen’s. And I do like the fact that when she goes into the office, sees Steve Crown, she decides what she wants to do. It’s no longer with Connor wants. It’s what she wants.
