Well - why hasn't that happened _already?_ I mean, what is stopping CJ from giving Amber a better job than the one she's got? This makes no sense. Realistically, it would have been the first thing on CJ's mind after he got more involved with Amber. If I recall correctly, Amber already sang at the Insomnia occasionally when Macy owned it, and CJ plotted to have Amber sing there in front of a record producer at one point.
