The visual staging of the last scene is pretty good! There’s Rick and CJ on one side (the nominal rivalry), Stephanie and Sally on the other side (the legendary rivalry) and there’s the baby in CJ’s arms (the prize everyone is fighting over).

The asides between Stephanie/Rick and Sally/CJ while they are _all_ in the same room are hilarious! It's the kind of thing you would see in a musical number but in spoken drama it does seem kind of siIIy. I mean, they can all _hear_ each other. 😂

​@@FayeILthis is like one of those opera ensembles where everyone is singing their own thoughts out loud and yet nobody can hear anyone else's thoughts. Things like this only work in opera. Like that part of The Magic Flute where five people sing a whole song about the importance of keeping a vow of silence.

And the way everyone is talking without EXACTLY saying what they mean so both sides can interpret it differently also feels very comedy/musical.

Sally really was such a class act in this episode. Telling CJ to treat the Forresters with respect, speaking to Stephanie and Rick kindly after everything they’ve done and everything that happened to Macy. The misunderstanding at the beginning about “you don’t need our permission for him to leave” actually made me laugh. I must be getting easy in my advancing years. OMG, am I Brooke? 😂 Amber just doesn’t deserve the Spectras or CJ at all. I know we’ve discussed this previously, but wow, was she easy to turn. Any goodwill she bought from me before is lost.

I agree. It seems like Amber is not being completely honest with CJ about her feelings for Rick. Amber is clearly tempted by both Rick, Stephanie's acceptance, and the Forrester life style. And she is _less_ tempted than she should be by the prospect of becoming a part of Sally's family.

This baby nonsens gets on my nerves. I know biologically little eric was beckys child. But i dont think all the issues legally were sorted out before she died. This child has probabaly a birth certificate with Ambers and ricks name on it. I could be wrong, but i would think so. I don't remember anything legally were done by anyone before or after becky died. That means rick and amber are the legal parents.

RICKS name is on a fraudulent birth certificate. Legally, Becky wanted Amber and CJ to raise little eric Amber lied about little Eric in the beginning, let's not forget that part. She forced Becky to give her baby to Amber, so that Rick and Amber could raise him. That's how Amber lost her marriage with Rick. Rick has no legal rights to Little Eric and neither does CJ. Becky hooked up with Deacon Sharpe, and he's the legal father ...he eventually takes little Eric never to be seen again...​@@jgoldfarb3

​@@lil_jon411I feel like this is not so simple, bc Becky took the baby but kept his name as Eric Forrester III. Did she ever get a new birth certificate to have her name as the mother even? If not, Amber is technically the baby's mother if that's what on record. And if the birth certificate also have Rick's name listed as the father, and that wasn't changed either, then.... 💁🏽‍♀️ That being said... The entire storyline is silly bc that baby belongs to not one single person in this entire scene.
