Morgan saying Stephanie "doesn't have any control" and that this was all "divine intervention" is the *Design vs Fate* theme that I've long identified on this show.
@annieo65276 ай бұрын
Yes! And Morgan falling off the chair but still landing on her feet (if only figuratively) shows how she is not in control either - she is a chaotic driver of the plot.
@NewYorkNick06076 ай бұрын
@@annieo6527 That's a great point Annie. Also Morgan's two career paths - model, then designer - marks her progression from plot object to plot subject. As a model she was an object (cameras pointed at her/directed how to pose) but as a designer now, she's a subject (creating/making).

Considering the current situation, that even after Macy's death and Thorne for one moment considered that everyone might have been right about Brooke-Thorne, a drunk Thorne then still thought he was kissing Brooke (when kissing Kimberly), I still believe Macy would've been much better off if she never had accepted Thorne's rebound proposal or if they had just separated amicably (until he got Brooke out of his system for real).

I know this scene between Thorne and Brooke is supposed to be “romantic” but considering how this is his father and brothers left overs, and she told him outright to stay away and he obsessively breaks into her house to seduce her without any consideration for his siblings just makes him look like a creepy horn dog. I don’t know how you even say “I want to be my siblings stepdad” without feeling sick to your stomach.
@annieo65276 ай бұрын
There are so many reasons why this "romance" isn't working. Thorne wanting to be his sister's stepdad is one of them. And Thorne saying "even a marriage couldn't destroy our relationship" as if _him marrying someone else_ was a sign of commitment. And the way it is clearly all about physical attraction ("wanting" and "needing" each other, rather than being in love) - if Thorne truly loved Brooke he would not ask her to choose him over Bridget.

The "rose petals on the bed" thing is one of those images that look romantic in a fantasy, but would be really awkward in real life. "A bed of roses" is a metaphor not meant to be taken literally. And Thorne creating this image places Brooke and Thorne in the realm of make believe, not reality. Thorne is trying to tell Brooke a fairy tale but she won't listen. Or maybe she just doesn't want a thorn in that bed of roses. 🌹

This is how Stephanie lost Eric the first time. She spent far more time working on the love life of her kids than she did on her marriage. She has no business meeting with teenage Kimberly or taking guardianship of grown ass Amber and widower CJ. The Thorne and Brooke thing is taking care of itself via her children. The Morgan thing is between Ridge, Morgan and Taylor. Tell Eric about it and maybe he fires Morgan. Otherwise, stay out of that too.

@@lil_jon411🎯 Eric could afford to drift apart from Steph bc he isn't invested in his family. He never knows what's going on and none of his kids ever involve him bc they know he's useless and about himself. Maybe he should spend more time at Steph's side helping to keep his family on the right path, than eye roving to the next young thing to chase.

Why exactly did Taylor give up working ? Honestly why? She isn’t a stay at home mom . She dresses up every day ,goes out ,and leaves the kids with the nanny. When Brookes kids were young and ‘ she was being a bad mom ‘ as people like to point out She was going to work every day and had something to do. Taylor goes to Forrester everyday alone to see Ridge and Morgan. Oh ,the Taylor Stan’s will say I’m picking on her or the cray one will say I’m jealous of a fictional character😂 Or they will make a separate post saying I’m a Brooke stan even though I can’t stand Brookes character this season 😂 And I’m not a hat er of Taylor either I’m just pointing out what is being shown on screen.
