This is around the time I stopped watching and I'm remembering why. Watching 3 eps a day highlights the flaws in the current storylines. Amber/Deacon/Rick has dragged out way too slowly, and this version of Rick is so bland that you really don't care whether Amber leaves him or not. I don't know who we're supposed to root for, as none of them are likeable. The Bridget/Deacon angle makes no sense as everyone has pointed out - it is so out of character and would be much more believable if there had been some family angst or tension from Bridget's side beforehand. For example the writer's could have built in some frustration at being treated like a child, family's putting all their attention on Rick instead of her etc etc....anything to hint at unhappiness and a need to rebel. There is no reason for her to not believe or trust her family at this point. Kristen/Tony is moving at breakneck speed and we barely know them to care enough about them as individuals or a couple. If my calculations are right they have known each other TWO DAYS?! I know time is a fluid concept in Soapland, but the pacing here is way off. This version of Kristen is also just generally boring and I can see why she and Tony only had storylines for about a year. Bring on 2002!
