@@Esi-741 Unfortunately it's true. Search for Bold and beautiful S18 E178 2: 30 mark. In episode 219 (7: 16 mark) of the same season he's appalled with Steph for faking a heart attack, yet he used a similar trick with Stephen 3 seasons prior. He fought for Nick and Brooke to be married when they thought RJ was Nick's rat. Then he had times when wanted Bridge to be together for RJ

They really do have chemistry.IMO, Whip would have been the better man for Bridget than Deacon (although Whip too is in his 30s at least). 😅 Unfortunately, Whip already got the - _possible-future step-father_ - label. Bridget is currently just giddy thinking that Whip and her mother just made out. And even if Bridget finds out that her own husband really is the father of her mother's child and cheating with her mother, Whip then still has been the man who has helped her mother to cover up her shameful secret

Not Deacon accusing *Whip* of taking advantage of Brooke. 😂 Megan standing there watching Deacon lose his mind, smoothing her hair judgmentally and thinking, “Brooke, baby, I would never betray you like this.” 😢 I understand Ridge’s anger at Massimo, but OTOH, he doesn’t consider that Massimo didn’t force everyone to act the way they did. Of course, he can’t think that deeply. Also, Eric is a little weasel and Massimo’s perceived betrayal doesn’t excuse his actions.

Not Deacon accusing anybody of taking advantage of anybody... 😕 But Eric really needs to start taking responsibility for where everyone is at. Steph warned him about marrying Brooke and how it would break up his family.

How is ridge and Eric blaming Mass for ERIC pushing a vote to get ridge out and ridge causing his own accident? Ridge original issue was Brooke owing the company instead of his parents and Ric acting like a know it all while Eric supported it. How did it suddenly make Massimo at fault?

It’s hard for me to see it as “manipulating his children against each other” because they’ve had issues with each other because Brooke stole ridges parents business. Ridge wanted it back and Ric was trying to stop him and Ridge is angry Eric didn’t back him. Massimo had nothing to do with that all he did was give Ric 1 business tutoring session.

@@lil_jon411 this is what I'm saying. Was trying to explain this in another post. All they can be mad at Massimo for, is teaching Rick more than apparently what they are teaching in his business school. Rick was already against Ridge (Massimo didn't force that) and it was Brooke's being mad at Ridge for trying to take the CEO title away from her, and Eric voting with Brooke, that made Ridge eventually leave. Massimo had very little to do with it and was purely lucky that Brooke came back and things went the way they did.

Whip and Brooke are a superior couple to Brooke and Deacon. I like their frenemy vibes. Their flirtatious bickering is likable and funny. Whip’s actor plays the part to a tee. You can understand his motives and there is thick tension in their tug-of-war. They are an unethical romantic pairing but it makes more sense than Deacon and Brooke’s torrid nonsense that came out of nowhere. The few scenes of Brooke and Whip have already trounced all the times Brooke and Deacon held each other’s faces talking about how passionate their love is.

Extremely well said. Brooke is the villain I love to hate, but I'm really enjoying her interactions with Whip as their conversations heat up a bit more and more as Brooke slowly let's down her guard and opens her heart. For me, Brooke is most beautiful when she's at her most vulnerable.

@@chucksmash1Right. It’s always a nice contrast when KKL’s “snooty Brooke” tenses into the more tender, or vulnerable moments. This happens outside of the romance scenes as well. I remember a number of times when Brooke’s smugness would shatter into fear from Stephanie or sadness terror after being slapped or spoken to abusively. If they were lesser actresses it would just come off as slapstick, but B&B was good at straddling the line between the campy stuff and effective drama.

@WhistleMeThis Very well said. KKL's ability to subtly shift from haughty Brooke to vulnerable Brooke in her scenes with Whip continue to prove what a great dramatic performer she is. Also, her passionate scenes with Deacon illustrate perfectly, just how addicted Brooke is to the allure/magnetism of married men who suddenly say they love her. Despite all her critics here in the comments, KKL/Brooke has compelled me to watch B&B for decades, and I continue to do so today.

Like your comments here. The way KKL plays Brooke can be dumbfounding at times. Her vulnerability with Whip works while her vulnerability with Deacon is such a turn off. 😮 I like the way Brooke, when listening to Whip knows that he speaks truth. You can see that in her expressions and body language. 🫢 With Deacon, Brooke acts like she doesn’t have a brain in her head. 🫣

So Ridge is now blaming his bad behavior on Massimo. He is just like his mother. He is never accountable for his own behavior- always someone else’s fault. Massimo didn’t make him raise his fists and threaten his brother. Ridge did that all on his own.

I loved JM (RIP) as Stefano but never really took to him as Massimo. I was excited when he joined but the the character never hit the mark for me. Stefano must have died at least 10 times and was the most unrealistic character 😂😂
