Eric didn't seem concerned about that when he was busy breaking up his family when he was ready to buy a house and go with Beth (only changed his mind bc of Angela). And then broke up his marriage over Brooke. He didn't care too much about keeping his family together then. I'm not a fan of this Massimo storyline and I wish Steph just moved out by herself. But Eric glad to see Eric alone and Steph with some support. He deserves to end up with nothing.

@@TriniT21 there is not a talk between any of these characters which I can relate with. And I remember this feeling watching the millennium BB when I was younger. The writers didn't give a darn about the history of the show. Everything had to sue the ongoing sl and the past had to be forgotten, even the same episodes of a SL can't be taken seriously as people change their mind so easily about an issue..That's Brooke' s fans stuff... I'm here for you all and to say Taylor good-bye. Hoping they will not ask money to watch the 90's missing seasons.

Amber is a MESS of a character. I’ve been a fan since her debut. It doesn’t come across as well on these KZbin episodes, but back in the day she brought a much-needed unique vibe to the whole soap landscape. She’s a one of a kind character for better or for worse.

I do feel sad for Amber losing her baby. But I still would really prefer to not have entire episodes focused on her. Meanwhile, according to youngest version of Eric with the bad suit, Amber losing her baby is now Ridge's fault?😕 They didn't seem to mind Ridge being gone when Amber took his office and Rick couldn't throw Ridge's name plate off the door fast enough. And all meanwhile.. There's something about Amber that reminds me of Morgan in this storyline.. Not sure exactly what.

Just last episode when I start to feel sorry for them they decide to be rude to ridge and Taylor for no reason. Ridge had every right to be angry with how entitled they were acting (and I say this as someone who can’t stand ridge). Even Amber going off on Taylor when she had ZERO to do with the ridge/Ric beef. Neither Taylor or ridge ever did anything personally to them for them to even get an attitude with them while their coming to offer their support.

Mary/Erica has got to be the fastest SORASed kid ever on this show. Amber was babysitting her when she was an infant, and now they are supposedly being set up to be romantic rivals. Not only that, but when Sheila ran off with toddler Mary, Amber was pregnant with the child who was born on the same day as Little Eric. And now Erica is old enough to babysit him.

Mary (born June 1997) and Thomas (born Jan. 1998) normally almost could be classmates, little Eric (born April 1999) and the twins (Sept 1999) normally almost could be classmates. But nowadays they all have been put into different age groups - Mary in her late teens, preteen Thomas, the elementary school Tridge twins and 3 year old Little Eric. 😅

Like when they introduced adult Hope, the virgin with morals, she was the young Taylor. Then Steffy, chasing men and throwing her body at Hope's boyfriends and Bill Spencer, was the emotional, passionate new Brooke. Always thought it funny that Brooke's daughter was new Taylor and Taylor's daughter new Brooke. Then the writers trashed all the characters.

Like others, I think these post-miscarriage scenes have dragged on way too long. Neither JT or AF have the acting chops to be compelling for this long with the same material. And given how whiplash-fast Brad moves along very important plot lines, it’s sort of nuts how long this is dragging out. Totally did not understand how, after Amber snapped at Taylor that she had no idea what Amber was going through, Taylor didn’t remind her that she thought her child died not all that long ago. Poor writing. Not to mention Amber snapping at Taylor for bringing up Amber’s design success, when, upon waking up from surgery, literally the very first thing Amber asks about is not her baby, but her fashion show reviews.

I was unimpressed by the whole Amber/Taylor interaction. Taylor's advice made no sense (for Amber to acknowledge her feelings, when she has done nothing _but_ talk about her feelings for days), and seemed like Taylor was just reading from a script as a therapist ("I _am_ a psychiatrist") as opposed to drawing on her own lived experience as a mother. And Amber just did more of the same thing she already did the day before. Compare this with Amber's scene with Stephanie, which was actually poignant and where Amber did seem to accept that it wasn't her fault (only to seemingly forget this realization today). I don't know if it was the writing, HT, AF, or all of the above, but I just didn't feel this scene.

@@FayeIL honestly I just don't care what happens to Amber. She's not someone I'm invested in. I think I skipped a whole episode bc there just wasn't enough material got me to care about. And I ffwd thru her fashion show (esp when she started singing). For me what they need to do is get back to more Steph on my screen but with no more of this awkward out of character writing for her trying to almost bring her down to Brooke's level.. They need to bring back Macy bc I thought she as just so wholesome and beautiful and I totally cared what happened to her... And they need to get whiny Brooke's secret out so I could stop hearing her whine. Oh, and I don't mind Sheila comjng back either. The show needs an actual villain I can root for lol.

@@TriniT21 Agree about all this, and luckily for us the show seems to agree too. The second half of 2002 is _vastly_ superior to the first half. Brooke's secret finally being revealed. CJ and Bridget. Sheila. The dramatic Taylor storyline. Macy's return. The fashion show in Italy. Even a Margo sighting if I recall correctly. And the TeIesave thing we will just pretend didn't happen.

I only watched this show coz of Rick and Amber.Writers have to cater to all of their audience.Rick and Amber's relationship was indeed a major theme in the show from 1998 till 2003 and that drove many other storylines involving rest of the characters so why won't they show them

When he was going through the custody battle with lil Eric Brooke was nowhere to be found but Steph was willing to pay her own money to help Ric get the baby. Ric himself admitted when he was 11 that he was angry that she put a man (his brother) over him.

Ridge and Taylor are two ricophants! Till the day before they were talking bad about them and about Amber being a designer and now Taylor is saying Amber has to be proud of her work. And anyway when someone lives a drama like losing a baby, they have to live the pain without interference and only after some time if the person gets depressed or something than you talk to a psychologist. Amber needs time to realize what happened, but Taylor always must interfere pretending she cares about Amber.

@ambika66681 I expected a commend like that. When Stephanie wasn't present ,because she had to go on holiday, it was fine, but if Brooke isn't present, immediately there are bad comments. Brooke is trying to do the "right thing" at the moment as well as Stephanie not telling the truth about the paternity of Ridge for the "right thing". I'm sure you love to criticise Brooke for that and say at the same time how good Stephanie is. It's always the same thing, Brooke is bad and Stephanie is good, not matter what they do. This is the point of few from a person, who is not able to analyse the situations and always has prejudice. From the first bad action Brooke did, you decided she is bad, even if she acts well.

Now she needs just time, without interferences to understand what happened. If you studied psychology as I did, you would know that. What Taylor is doing is giving a medicine, before there is even an illness.
