So lets sum up Macy married Thorne and lost him, than started to develop a great musical career but got cancer that caused her her singing voice, got Thorne back but he was framed for murder, which almost caused her and Sally’s lives, she was happy with him for a while until he left her again and she had to watch him fall for someone else, finally found another love but lost him to cancer, got her father back but he had to leave again, got Thorne back and he fell for Brooke, was finally ready to let go and move on but he made her come back because of the Italy trick she had nothing to do with, left her for Brooke again after months of suffering, she was saved after almost dying and had to pretend dead and start a new life, Thorne wanted her back, when she finally got herself to give him one more chance, the miss understanding happened and he slept with her best friend and got her pregnant while she lost the ability of having kids, and when she finally found love, and her career was going totally take of again, she was murdered by someone she never knew over something she had nothing to do with Did the all the writers just hate this character???

@orifeldman3213 the BeLieF formula ended up at Spectra and the Forresters assumed Macy stoIe it. She ended up in jaiI and in all the tabIoids for something she didn't do, and the Forresters never apologized. The alcoholism began when Thorne chose Karen over her due to a misunderstanding, and Bill Spencer intercepted Macy's message to Thorne where she tried to clear it up.

​@@orifeldman3213 you have it right in the main (with the exception of the belief stolen formula storyline @AnnieO mentioned, and the ever ridiculous Karen/Thorne /Macy storyline. The writers clearly h@ted this character. Meanwhile, there's characters like Brooke who keeps whining about all she's been thru which normally includes her not understanding why Steph never liked her, and her imaginary long term ill fated relationship with Ridge who managed to marry 2 other women besides her in that entire time

KiIIing off Macy this way made no sense whatsoever. Apparently, the writers felt that they no longer knew what to do with Macy after she had been paired up with Deacon, and Thorne was getting involved with Darla and the baby. But having the chandelier fall on Macy and her ending up in a coma was entirely pointless. It added no momentum to any storyline. In fact, it stopped several potential storylines dead in their tracks (like the continued confIict over Little Eric, Macy's rivalry with Brooke including Hope's visitation with Deacon and Brooke taking over Spectra, and Macy's obvious lingering feelings for Thorne who was just about to have a baby with Darla). It even lacked the emotional impact of her first death because it was underdeveloped, poorly written, and had no aftermath. It seemed like a plot decision made out of lack of ideas (and it's no wonder BE decided to leave instead of waiting indefinitely for Macy to be written out of the coma). And yet, the answer is so OBVIOUS. Have _Thorne pu s h Macy out of the way_ of the falling chandelier (it looked like he was about to do it - he even got up from his seat). Let _him_ be the one ending up in a coma, with Macy owing him her life. This one move would have shaken up everything that was just about to settle (and it would have been far more satisfying to watch...). Macy and Deacon's happy marriage. Thorne and Darla's new family. The rest of the plot basically writes itself. It would be one big soapy mess with several children involved. And it would have been poetic justice to have Thorne sacrifice himself to save Macy this time, after Thorne's treatment of her played a part in her first death, and after he faiIed to reach her in time to save her then. I can't believe the writers missed this. Well, yes, I _can_ believe it.

Whether he wanted to or not, he obviously treats everyone except KKL in such a way that at some point they no longer like it. And HT really should have avoided returning. After that her role was completely changed.

Whatever the reason, Bobbie Eakes in 2003 really *_reset_* her life. She relocated with her husband to New York because of AMC. I don't know much about her new character, Krystal, (but it wasn't a good girl character anymore, or was it ??) but it got BE at least two emmy nominations for lead actress (2006, 2010).

By all accounts she only offed one which was via killer bees (Lance), any others wouldn't be considered murders. 🤔 One-night stands have produced multiple children IRL and in soapworld. Sheila always wanted a son of her own to raise, and her daughter with Massimo worked in her favor in this storyline.

The messed up writing/ life on B&B. A couple can cut their honeymoon in Mexico short to rush back to LA for a business coup, but a character that supposedly lives and works in LA can't be shown rushing to the hospital when his sister had had emergency surgery. Even worse, his parents do not even mention him.

Sheila with Massimo's baby. This just gets more ridiculous by the minute. You have other ladies on here (Macy i.e.) who can't get pregnant no matter how hard they try. Then other women (Sheila i.e.), who seem to get pregnant as easily as entering a room with a man. Dumb storyline. Didn't look like Sheila was carrying anything under her coat before, she sure was moving around pretty good all the while holding a baby. Then all of a sudden, voila, there's a baby lol.

She was probably too talented and too attractive. Bell eventually eliminates any competition for KKL. The Deacon/Macy story would have had 10x more potential than the same old boring soup with Brooke and Ridge.
