B&B never wastes time with something like this. Everyone changes partners very quickly. Eric snogs a woman he has known for a day and immediately calls her "a friend", Brooke jumps from one to the other in the rhythm of the day. So nothing unusual. Macy knew Deacon more than a week before.. 😉

@@annieo6527 He could be sloppy in his writing ( as usual) Have Eric at home discussing with Donna that Macy is coming over Telling her the story of how a chandelier fell on Macy and she was presumed unalive for years. She was really in a coma & Sally kept her alive ,but when she awoke last year she found out Sally had passed away. She spent the last few months reconnecting with CJ ( out of State) and has now decided to come back to LA She called Eric so he wouldn’t be shocked if he saw her walking around town ,and to of course discuss Sheila because she heard that she is now married to Deacon.Eric invited her over Her next stop is to see her HUSBAND Deacon!!! They can show flashbacks to get new viewers familiar with her character.

@@-Lily7415 since the writing of her death was already sIoppy, it would actually make _more_ sense to undo it. It was almost as if she didn't even die anyway - no on screen death scene, no scene where anyone reacted to the news, barely any scenes of anyone grieving, no funeral, and she was rarely mentioned afterwards. Even Sally seemed to care more about losing Spectra Fashions than about losing her beloved daughter. Sally Iying about the whoIe thing is actually a reasonable explanation (and something Sally would totally do, since she has often Iied, or spoken metaphorically, about people being "dead" in the past).

The Deacon/Macy storyline would work a lot better if it wasn't moving so fast. They have barely known each other for two months and are already talking marriage. Even Macy herself is meta commenting that everything is happening too quickly.

There aren't reliable relationships anymore . The fun of the new couple is the tease, the chemistry they have to show before ma kin g out. The viewer has to be the first who know that a pairing will work, before the two characters involved. Now it's all ma kin g out and dump.

@@annieo6527 everything seems to be moving at lightning speed.. We also had Taylor not even in the ground yet and Brooke draping herself on Ridge, then looking to get married barely a couple months later. Then there's Popeye the sailor who knew nothing about Brooke besides her name and what she looks like in lingerie but decided she had spent too much of her entire life obsessing over Ridge. There was wrinkled Eric who needed belief sprayed on him, apparently falling in love with and defending Jackie about a week after moving in the beach house with her. At least Deacon and Macy are nice to look at. I didn't think I'd like them together as much as I do.

When it comes to Brooke the forrester men are the prime example of “it’s cool when she does it, it’s a problem when everyone else does it.” Yet we’re supposed to believe Deacon is the more unfit parent? This is the same woman who was quick to abandon her kids just because she couldn’t handle her child being from her husband instead of his son.

Never liked Nick and Brooke either. The chemistry seemed off between them from the beginning. To me, Nick and Brooke ended up making each other look bad. Nick ended up being far worse than Ridge. He ended up sleeping with mother, daughter and sister. Brooke seemed worse with him. She acted like such an “Air head” with Nick from the beginning. 😮

@@-Lily7415 Yes, that was a completely unnecessary story, because Brooke played Jack's oh-so-loving mother back then and today there isn't a thought about him. I still maintain that Bell always needs actors to be driven into the abyss by Brooke so she can always end up playing the glorified winner. Taylor was always good for that, by that he completely ruined her role.

I loved Frisco and Felicia on GH! If you don’t like the Nick and Brooke pairing Perhaps you would enjoy the Bridgette and Nick pairing ?? I returned to B& B in 2005 after not watching for a few years. Nick was with Bridgette ( Ashley Jones) and they made a nice couple.
