Frankly, i don't care who Maya is so long as she's honest. I don't expect her to tell her life story to every man she dates, but when the relationship moves from a couple of dates to something more exclusive, then it's time to let her partner know the truth before they become any more emotionally invested in someone they may or may not want to be with. She took away their choices and acts as if her choices are all that matters. That's wrong!

She should have told him BEFORE they kissed or started dating. Transgender people are people and they deserve, love, respect and dignity. But I have to admit, I dislike the idea of people surgically changing their sex. I think every "straight" man would feel uncomfortable about even kissing a former male, far more about sleeping with a former male.

Unfortunately I have no sympathy for her because she was so arrogant with Ally and Ivy and many others before. She expects understanding and respect, but behaves inhumanly and disrespectfully towards others. She definitely should have told Rick beforehand. Originally, I was not into Rick and Maya storyline. I have been rewatching their romantic storyline arch once more. It was actually truly beautiful emotional impactful matured romance that had grown emotionally stronger and encouraging supportive towards each other despite negatives from their similar fellow hypocrisy bullying characters by names of Ridge Douglas-Marone aka Forrester and Bill Spencer themselves that has me loving their romance now. ❤️

The writers wanted to shed some light on a delicate topic and I appreciate it. However, I wish they hired a real transgender actress instead of a beautiful female one who doesn't bear any resemblance with a man. As much as transgenders change themselves through surgery, there's no way that they look like a woman. Theirs features and voice cannot be completely changed. Therefore it's impossible that none has noticed that, not even Rick or Carter. This is absolutely unbelievable.

This is a terrible storyline....who cares that he feels he a woman. Bottom line when ur involved with somebody they have a right to know! That's like sleeping with someone than later on u decide to tell them u have a std or something. Give the person the option to stay or leave. i can only ever imagine what it must be like dating and being intimate with someone as a trans person, but one thing i do know is that nobody has the right to know that about someone. like liam said, trans people are killed just for existing. you could feel as secure as possible with someone and still not want to tell them. whatever the reason is, no trans person owes anyone their history. and if you truly loved someone, it wouldnt matter and you wouldnt need to know, just like how rick ultimately didnt care if maya told him or not because he loved her.
