@@tiroyaonejustinphologolo9763 when nick first mentioned Ridge to her on the boat, she didn't even know who he was either.. Despite working at Fenmores, which is Forresters biggest customer 😕. Also weird, was Jackie walking into Massimo's office, having a convo with him, and not even recognising her til she told him they'd spent some magical nights together. Clearly they weren't that magical if he didn't even recognise her. Was just as unbelievable as Eric claiming Beth was the love of his life and it took him a couple days b4 he recognised her.

Jackie suddenly hugging Eric is just another example of Jackie and Nick Payne being written to have an unrealistic and unearned closeness to the established characters. They are just _there,_ right at the center, without having had to do any of the work one would expect that a new character would have to do to get to know the core families. Their interactions with other characters simply aren't believable, and as a result, they don't feel like real people. Also @Trish, yes, too much Jackie and not enough Sally is right!

I made a comment that Brooke's always talking about being in love with Ridge for her whole adult life from the moment she saw him when she catered at his house. Ridge, however, cannot say the same about Brooke. He saw her, and kept pursuing Caroline to take him back til Brooke stole his letter. As far as I'm concerned, the only thing Brooke's been going through is constantly making up a relationship with Ridge where there wasn't any.

How many "mistakes" did Brooke make. and yet, there Brooke had tons of excuses for sleeping with her little girls' husband. Ridge could forgive Brooke for sleeping with Deacon, and yet Brooke couldn't forgive Ridge for kissing Bridget, ugh. Brooke's dialogue is so full of hypocriticalness. Bridge never had the depth that Tridge did. Brooke couldn't admit that Ridge truly loved Caroline and Taylor. Brooke puts herself in these position being the "other woman"
