I think the writers are going crazy right now with their twisted plots and extreme irrational behaviors of characters that make little sense. Everything is happening at warp speed. Starting with Deacon’s plot to win Amber away from Rick. Then we have the sudden and final break up of Thorne and Brooke. Which leads to Brooke suddenly changing her direction to go after a married Ridge after her confrontations with Stephanie and Taylor. Forget about anything flowing…just one sudden turn after another? 😮 And this irrational Argument that Ridge is having with Taylor is reminding me of how Ridge was behaving after he saw Brooke giving Grant a goodbye kiss. Taylor needs to stand her ground with Ridge, who is acting like a complete jerk. 😬 Thorne going to Taylor to tattle on Brooke (who seems completely delusional)… At the worst moment? 🤨 Yep, Drama is the name of the Game…😳

She once told Ridge that it was Eric’s fault for marrying Brooke when he knew that Ridge still loved Brooke and he took her away from Ridge. So back then, Steph wasn’t blaming Brooke for taking Eric away from her…. She blamed Eric for taking Brooke away from Ridge. 🤨 Stephanie now tells it that Brooke is to blame for intruding in the lives of all the Forester men. Eric rejecting Stephanie for Brooke is something that she has never gotten over. 😖

Ridge has always downplayed Taylor's job and he has never understan the commitment she put in her work. How many times did he already ask her to give up on a project or on a patient because he felt insecure? That's an old dynamic in Tridge's fight. Of course the 90' s fights were better. How many times was Taylor ashamed to ask him not to work with that shark(😉Nick) ? It's the opposite with Brooke, he has always valued her work at FC a company his mother and father worked hard to raise.. All the 90's seasons many talked about the future HT's 00 surgeries ( back then the script underlined her beauty in each single episode!) just to make a comparison with the 90' s young KKL .. I guess here they have used the same tricks, but HT looks more natural than KKL and, as always, more beautiful...

If we are to compare something as subjective as looks at all, a more fair comparison, that tends not to be made, would be to look at both these actresses prior to any surgery (of course, we don't know exactly how far back we'd have to go to see that because it's Hollywood and even young actors do it). After that point, it just becomes a question of who had the better doctor, or the good taste not to overdo it. In fact, to be _really_ fair, we'd also have to make the comparison sans professional makeup or hair styling because these also mainly reflect the skiII of _other people_ (the stylists). HT clearly had some very successful work done back in the 80s that significantly altered her appearance and created the "look" that later became synonymous with her (new nose, new front teeth, new hair color). And then in the 00s she had some very unfortunate surgery that destroyed that look. KKL seems to have made more subtle changes to her face over the years and IMO was originally somewhat prettier than HT in the early 80s before either of them had (visible) work done (of course, we don't know if the 80s face was the "original" face of either actress). In the 90s HT had a stunningly beautiful face, but it was a work of art rather than a work of nature. That being said, I'd say both actresses could have just skipped the surgery altogether and they'd still have looked good, because to me the character, movements and nuances of a naturaI face, wrinkles and all, are far more interesting than any streamIined product of a Hollywood surgeon. I'd still watch Susan Flannery and Darlene Conley over them any day, though, because their faces actually tell a story.

@@annieo6527 oh Annie, I know that HT fixed her nose. If you look at her nose carefully you can see it is not perfectly symmetric because she fixed the tip of her nose only. The shape is her original nose. The rest of her face as eyes, check bones and lips were her original ones. I watched some pictures of her in the early 80's. The dark hair is her natural color and about the teeth, all the people, famous or not fix their teeth, if they have too. I think that she was gorgeous with those changes because she already had a great face. As a great fan of her beauty I was not happy when she showed up in 2005. And if I talk about KKL face in 2001 it's only because her fans got ballistic with HT. That's all. I do like people who age gracefully of course.
