I think the Forrester family overreacted over Sheila's job as a "liaison" when it is actually being Brooke's "secretary". She has no power or influence on how the business is run so her position in the company made no difference.

Wow, the divorce conversation happened really quick. The wedding wasn’t that long ago. Despite Sheila’s bad behavior, Eric is no saint either. He started complaining when Sheila was buying furniture and whenever she wanted to talk to him, he was too busy working. I blame Eric for Sheila working.

Great bit of nonverbal acting between Sally and Macy at 14:35! They have a consultation about the future of the company and come to a reluctant agreement without uttering a single word. It's especially nice how, after a concerned Sally turns to Macy and leaves the decision up to her, Macy _both_ turns away with a frustrated sigh, signaling her personal objection, _and_ makes a gesture towards Sally, signaling that in spite of this Sally has her blessing to do whatever needs to be done in order to save Spectra, and only _then_ does Sally turn back to Bill and nods her approval.

The ending was wonderful; Kimberlin’s very understated turn of the head when Eric says he doesn’t care anymore was so well done against that music. I like the opening shot of this episode - Eric reflected upside down through a crystal ball. It fits with his life being "upside down". Otherwise the show very often uses the circular brass sculpture as a "frame" at the beginning of scenes in Eric's office.

I did miss her when she came back in 2017 because it was a surprise but then we got a watered down version of her and I wasn’t excited when she came back during this recent run since 2021. She is a legendary soap opera villain and was at her apex during the 1990’s but she’s not quite the same although she’s still dangerous as hell with her shooting Finn and Steffy.

If you're talking about the clip, that took place on Y&R. Unfortunately, the Bells sold the rights to Sony some years ago so I wouldn't expect to see those old episodes any time soon, but in those days Sheila would cross over often between both shows, which helped B&B _and_ Y&R's ratings considerably.

In Episode 1651 Sheila told Eric that she thinks they might need a change, need some space, and that she was going to leave. Eric in that episode had agreed to that separation and had NOT asked any questions like where she would go or why. But it seems in today's episode he had expected her to call him and to tell him more (Brooke, thanks to Sheila's note, knew more about Sheila's whereabouts and motive).
