If she isn't having marital problems and misunderstandings with Thorne, she is getting blamed for Sally's shenanigans (which she never knows anything about), falling off the wagon, getting cheated on, getting cancer in whichever body part she needs the most at the moment, having a husband die of cancer, dealing with a homicidal stalker ex, struggling with infertility, getting into car crashes, getting blown to pieces, or getting killed by Phantom of the Opera reenactment. Poor girl never did catch a break - or when she did, it was just so she could fall even deeper next time.

@@trinit2108 yes, the theft of the BeLieF formula. IIRC we never did find out who actually did it. Thorne suspected Macy at first but to his credit, once he learned that she'd been arrested, he did bail her out anyway.

@@v.b6028 no, it is never really clear who did it. The person who ended up in jail for it after Macy was also in all probability the wrong person. Which leaves only one suspect who never actually admitted to anything. So it was left vague and never cleared up although it's possible to draw one's own conclusions.

Taylor's diagnosis is very bad how did she come to the conclusion that Stephanie is doing life. You don't have to be a psychiatrist to understand that Stephanie is in trouble, a person leaves the house with the car, no money, no credit card, no plane ticket... can't fly, and what does she do if she runs out of money, how does she fill up with gas?! She doesn't call, which is uncharacteristic of Stephanie who is very attached to her family. I like Taylor but I have to admit that she has knowledge but mostly she doesn't have good intuition. What else bothers me is her look is very monotonous, Ridge is worried and stressed and she has the same poker face, where is the empathy of a professional?! And it seems that he talks and cares and what interests her is to make a face in love with him, she is so transparent that she is deathly in love with him... She tries to maintain restraint around him but sorry it doesn't work for her, her looks betray her, where are the tricks of a professional to hide it a bit ...

It's too bad the show didn't have Ruthanne visit Stephanie regularly all the way until Stephanie died. Ruthanne could have been Stephanie's conscience, especially in the later years when she was in her Gangsta Granny phase faking heart attacks and whatnot.

Not totally sure how I feel about that this time. Wondering if his dependent mother (I am Mrs Eric Forrester) might be able kill herself after having lost Eric for good, is a good reason to see a shrink. Although Ridge could have just as well talked with Felicia or Thorne if they might think their mother is capable to do that, instead of asking the woman who has rarely seen Stephanie and who rarely got to talk much to his mother as Stephanie had been dismissive/ short and kinda rude: - Taylor delivering Caroline's letter - Stephanie interrupting after spying through Ridge's window - at the cabin - at the Beric wedding - the failed therapy session
