What’s worse is that they waited for Bill to show some interest in Stephanie for a dialogue about her whereabouts to show some serious concern. Instead of chitchatting about it, why haven’t they filed a missing persons report?? These people are ridiculous!

To some extent I understand why Brooke was so hard on Ridge. She thinks he should find Stephanie not Eric. And she is right, it should be ridge or Thorne taking the lead though Eric should obviously be involved at some level. Yes, selfish on Brooke’s part, but Stephanie has always been abusive to Brooke so she clearly still dislikes her. Ridge is so useless at looking for his mother and really inappropriate when Sally comes to tell him she saw Stephanie.

Story of Brooke's life. She is always "caught" saying the "wrong" thing. She was just telling Donna she can do things on her own without need of hired help, that she doesn't need to spend money to get used to her lifestyle, and when she is convinced? by Donna to go shopping and says some things about it in a mostly humorous way, that is what Eric walks into. Not that he would misunderstand this, but if that was Stephanie walking in.......

I think - on one hand Brooke is angry with Ridge and his indecisive behavior (I broke up with Dr. Hayes as I am not willing to commit - but I still will ruin your brother's relationship with her as well) - but I think Brooke is also not happy about them always worrying about Stephanie and the thought that Stephanie will soon be back - the one who won't be happy about Brooke's new role at FC. There has been an episode with Brooke talking to Ridge and mentioning Stephanie, in one of the upcoming episodes Eric will address Brooke's eagerness for her research - and Brooke talking about how she wants to be able to prove that she can contribute and again mentioning Stephanie.
