@@MaZaKeRaL that was when she was a child. When they aged Hope Ridge and Brooke had already been married, for several years, when Hope was aged, so it makes sense that Ridge was seen as her father, because he was the one raising her.

The triangle should have been between Hope/Liam/Aly. The actress that played Aly was a very good actress, but I wouldn't have cast her, because I don't think that she looks anything like Darla or Thorne. I would have cast a younger Darla lookalike. I also would have bonded Hope and Steffy as sisters. Steffy didn't have Phoebe anymore, so that would have been a good storyline to have these 2 bond as sisters.

Brooke is a hopeless romantic....instead of a moral steward...I am more of a moral steward, but as a therapist, I get it her approach in being open, transparent and supportive to her daughter.Taylor was sort of cool with seeing Steffy and Bill at her house.Which was really very immoral.As a Christian woman, I would rather we all wait for marriage but when people choose either wise.As parents, lets be a safe haven for guidance, not condemnation.Also, our religions and value systems differ.Ridge was totally being a father to Hope, however he did not give Steffy,the same advice.Ridge does really love Brooke and Hope.He is more protective towards them, than towards Steffy and/or Taylor.
