Hope straight out of high school was handed her line by Hatie Katie just to hurt Steffy… Hope never worked for anything, she placed herself on a pedestal with a halo of abstinence and carried on for years being propped by everyone else… designers, PAs, her mother and boyfriends. Steffy on the other hand worked her way up from the mailroom, she learnt the business and saved the company from Bill more than once.

As bad as I feel for briget she as to take responsibility for her role in this,and I don't mean her reaction to the betrayal because that was understandable given her history of being betrayed by those she loves but how she handles the vetting process, nick was suspicious about Angie and she wouldn't hear of it, she did not even meet other candidates which nick wanted to do,she herself thought Agnes was hiding something but just dismissed it,she turned a blind eye to all the red signs. She should have done a better job finding out who this woman was beyond they both like yoga, at the very least find out if thr things she listed on her form are true, before picking her,people can put anything in their resume doesn't make them true,

Steffy whining about Hope not working her way up is absolutely laughable, considering she’d only been at the company for just over a year herself and Bill gave her the PR position to keep Ridge happy. Not that she isn’t right, but still.

KariIzumi1 There is a difference. A very big difference. Steffy worked her way up from the mail room to intern, to actually on staff, prior to getting the pr job from bill. She then had to have major successes in pr before ever even getting her own line. Hope immediately started as an intern in high school, and during her first week she got to sit in on creative meetings, and then was given the opportunity to suggest a line, then got to run that line. All within her first two weeks at said company. Steffy is actually a forester and the CEO’s daughter, yet hope got more favorable treatment.
