Yes, Shoutout to Takeda, the teacher that DID stay around and went above and beyond for our team and managed to get Ukai as a coach

To think they foreshadowed the ball boy arc here with Daichi learning how to receive being ball boy....

Daichi being ball boy, to becoming a great receiver. Ahh, I love when that happens.

The person directing the cheer normally faces the crowd instead of the court though.

The young teacher you were talking about in the end is known as Takeda sensei. Another fact, he has the same hairstyle and hair color as the Little Giant but apparently is not related in the least to that guy.

I spent so much of the manga thinking that Takeda was secretly the little giant in his past somehow, only to get absolutely BTFO'd. Worth it.

It was stupid to think he was LG I never understood that. I just assumed clearly he'd be a different person or never introduced. What would have been the point of him being a stealth character, that's so dumb

Daichi is the team glue. Absolutely fantastic character arc. Without the 3rd years slogging it out the team would have fallen apart before Kageyama and Hinata even arrived.

The "Random" guy isnt random. He actually come to watch Karasuno's the game much longer then almost anyone. He is the true fan of Karasuno.

It seems that he, like many, got into the sport when Karasuno was the pride of the town, but he stuck with them through the hard times, too.

Funny enough, the main thing about fast attacks is... the speed. I mean, almost anything can be a point, even when you mess up the spike and you take by surprise the opponents. Middle blockers take many weird points
@AllTheArtsy2 жыл бұрын
Middle blocker attacks are some of the fastest in volleyball. That center line gets real crazy real fast

Nekoma didn't denied. They are from another province, and without a coach or a proper advisor who can look up for the team, it`s hard to keep in touch. Just it.

You already picked up a bit on how the seniors/3rd years feel in this episode, but pay close attention to it in the coming episodes: 7, 8, 9, 10. It's an Easter-Egg. This game means a lot to Daichi+Suga+Asahi, because they are in their final year of highschool and consider to stop playing volleyball when they leave (as is the tradition in Japan: the 3rd years usually quit their extracurricular activities to study for University entrance exams, or to search for jobs), and they have been striving to achieve something with Volleyball during those 3 years. In Japan it's usually the time for young athletes (3rd year of highschool) to decide whether they can pursue professional sports with the skills they have, or if they focus on studying/finding jobs instead. Some Daichi+Suga+Asahi scenes are interesting. Those scenes fly by in seconds, and most people don't get it. So look out for them. :) PS: Nishinoya and Tanaka are 2nd year students; Kageyama, Hinata, Tsuki and Yamaguchi all 1st year students. It isn't as pressing a time for the 2nd and 1st years. The managers Kiyoko Shimizu (3rd year) and Hitoka Yachi (1st year)...for Kiyoko this is a meaningful year as well, since she was supporting Karasuno for 3 years without them achieving much in that time. The managers are truly part of the team.
