karmveer singh They are a great exponent for indian music, with all their bubbling happyness and joy of playing. I got so I simply couldn't stop dancing, even after the concert was over. So good. But, ok, I was biased. I had just returned from a trip to India when I went to the festival (I go each year if I can afford it) and on my way to the festival-grounds, I found out I could buy indian Kingfisher-beer in my local, Danish supermarket to bring with me (one time offer on specialty-beer) and when I got to the festival and went to get some food, the first stall I came to was serving indian streetfood (allthough only very slightly spicey to suit tender Danish taste-buds). And then I see these incredible Barmer Boys in the programme and is like "whoa, what is going on?!? India comming to Denmark to drag me back, or what?" ..Maybe it is me who should come to Rhajastan to see them, and not the other way around. I think it is so the more I think about it. I hope you had as good an experience as I did:-D

I also just found out on Google that Amarrass festival is held in New Delhi - or was last time in november last year. Actually looks very interesting on the poster, with lots to do besides the music. I guess I got one destination mapped for my next travel to India. Perfect timing to, in the pleasant temperatur after monsoon.

karmveer singh I only was a very short time in Delhi. India is such a big place and I am normally not so keen on big cities, so I was mostly in Southern India, Karnataka, Goa, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. So it seems proper I should start in Delhi for a feel of continuation. Thank you for your offer of Company. Don't be surprised if I take you up on it as I consider it the best way to experience foreign places together with locals. And you seem very knowledgeable, so that would be very great.
