Confession of Captain Arkar Myint from Myanmar Military who got involved in the execution of 7 Rakhine civilians including Phoe La Pyae (Rakhine Rap Singer/Social Influencer) and Phoe Thiha (Myanmar Journalist) on Jan 23, 2024. This war crime atrocity is committed at Light Infantry Battalion 378 in Mrauk U while the prisoners were detained at the detention center of central post there.

People's Goal (formerly People's Soldiers) is an organization that advocates for defections by Myanmar national soldiers. The organization advocates Myanmar soldiers to stand for justice, equality, and democracy by joining the people and the Myanmar Spring Revolution whilst disobeying the murderous generals who violently took power in a coup on 01 February 2021. In addition to its advocacy work, People's Goal also supports soldiers who have defected, and their family members as well.
