BOLLE X-800 Tactical "Assault" Goggles, Review

Hey everybody welcome back to another episode of Muddy Reviews, in this video we are checking out the BOLLE X-800 Tactical "Assault" Goggles. These are excellent goggles for Military, Airsoft, and Law Enforcement use where a good ballistic-rated goggle that has good venting is necessary to conduct extended operations with Eye Pro on.

I have always liked the look of the BOLLE X-800 goggles and I know some people think they are ugly...I don't agree LOL. I was surprised at the increased field of view these had compared to the ESS and Revision goggles I wore when I was deployed down range and really wish I had grabbed some of these when I was still in the Navy.
Now for the mods, I mentioned in the video. Ah, the classic goggles that the Praying Mantis contractors rock on their Pro-Tec helmets in the Middle East. Honestly, these goggles are growing on me, but since they’re not really that sought after here in Philippines, we do have some Pyramax tactical goggles here which do look nice to be a stand-in supplement for the Bolle X800 goggles, and the Oakley A-Frame goggles Roach rocks in OG MW2. ❤ As far as I can tell, the Pyramax goggles are likely used by our troops and handful of operators here, as well as some SWAT and SAF guys. Could say it’ll look perfect on one of my MICH helmet setups which I’ll take inspiration from Roach’s helmet setup while also ditching the arc rails altogether. Also, magnificent beard, Muddy. Been a good while, I hope you’re doing well man! 😊

I am doing well, and it has been a while!! Nice to see a Midoriiyahebi3535 comment on a video again. The BOLLE X800 are super Iconic ballistic goggles and indeed are on Praying Mantis contractor Pro-Tecs. Oakley , frames are good goggles as well and do look pretty rad.

Hey just wondering if they break easily from airsoft guns? And if so what fps would you say they are good untill? Sorry for the trouble

Not a trouble at all this is why I do this channel :) so these Bolle X800 goggles should meet MIL-PRF 32432 Ballistic Fragmentation standard, and they definitely meet ANSI Z87. 1 standard. These standards are for safety and military ballistic ratings.
