I've used this exact strat and also added the RSI to one of the rules. RSI ALSO had to be over bought or over sold. I was big into crypto and was trading with $20k in BTC and only scalped it. I would cut the trade after gaining 2%. tiny play's but each trade would net 0.02BTC and only took about 1-10 mins. BTC was trading at about 18k at the time.

I do this on SPY 15 min candles....works amazing. I buy options. only 1 trade a day!

use the rsi with those others..and then run a fib ext..also..

For the Stochastc I think the 14, 3, 3, lines up better with the reversal candle than the 13, 5, 5,

Been using this but ignoring the Bollinger and the candles was using the stochastic only thanx will keep looking out for all the possible entries

I was just backtesting this method on the 15min charts of EURUSD starting from the London open BEFORE I found this video haha. Quite funny that I found this vid after I had already thought of the strategy. I use that specific criteria of TF/Pair/Time of Day mainly because it's the only time I can really sit in front of charts. But also because London open and New York open show the most volatility during the day so they are perfect times to use this strategy. I'll look into it on daily TF as well though, could be a good long-term strat to use.

From a quick look at the charts, 5-min candlesticks don't seem to work but 15-min ones do.

actually, if u want to be in a trade for short term with lesser profit then 5 min candles work better, and for longer term and higher profit 15 and 30 mins are good

Nice video. I adaptes that strategy to fibonacci sequence averages like 21 for BB and 13/3 for stochastics. I use that mostly for daytrading, and it works definitely better in sideways markets. Greetings from Brazil. Good job

The only issue with using BB like this is that no matter what stock/index you wanna trade/test on you're always going to get ALOT of days where the stock just trends up or down on that specific day no matter what the overall trend actually is, so this type of ranging strategy has a massive hole in it really. Test it on something like the Dax as an example, if that thing wants to go on a run up on the day and you try short that even on an exhaustion candle it's going to quickly crush you with something like 1 red candle down then 5 green up, you need something else added in here to help with those kind of days, strong trending days.

I've been spending the last couple of weeks looking at a new strategy to use and found this bollinger band one a few days back and was really keen on it. Finding this video and your enthusiasm for it has made my mind up to give it a go! I will be using a twin trade/scaling approach, so I can hopefully catch some of those big moves whilst having already taken some profit in the earlier part of the move.

I like it, I've always used the stochastic and the 200 ema which has worked nicely would you implement the 200 ema into this, may not be relevant as you'd have the bollinger bands In play

15min charts are perfect for this I've found. Always able to get at least 10 pips as a target. Any TF lower than this is just not worth it once you take into account the spread.
