Just shows her insecurity LOL - speaking of it as though she left some illustrious career behind to become a mother. There are some immensely talented women in her husband’s own industry that had to do that and chose to make that sacrifice. They can make a case for themselves. All she had to say was that: “I’m fortunate to be in a position where I don’t have to work for a living. I take great joy in watching my child grow - and for now, I’d like to dedicate my time to that. I do want to salute the career women who are mothers and do the extraordinary task of balancing work and family. We are all women doing the best we can for our children - whether it is me who gets to stay at home and spend time with my child or the mother sending her kids to school and then commuting to work to put food on the table and ensure her children have a great education.” My respect for any privileged person goes up when they actually acknowledge their privilege and - we don’t even need them to apologize for it, but at least just acknowledge that most people weren’t lucky enough to have their circumstances.
