Abhijeet has definitely come up the hard way. Coming from a small city like Kanpur n settling down in a big city like Bombay is not a joke.... He definitely has come a long way. He is a born Singer....and has been very lucky to strike gold at the first instance, as his debut song was with R.D.Burman. For sixteen years he was in grt demand, but after that ; since he has been on the down slide, he has been quite inactive in playback singing. Recently, I had the pleasure of watching a concert of his on KZbin and I was absolutely impressed with his performance. He does solo shows.....sings non-stop for an hour and a half and mostly his own songs besides a few of Kishore da's songs. I admire this man's guts....he struggled , made it big and wisely invested his money on property in Bombay which has been giving him tremendous returns. He definitely is a man from a small town who made it big in a metro and to top it all; he has been very successful in his singing career as well as his investments. They say fortune favours the brave and this man is a classic example. My best to him.

Actually Indians don't like a straight forward person. They just like to listen the things, which pleases them. wht is the need of taking an interview, if you want to listen to the same things from everyone. He can have his own opinions, he is here to tell out his thoughts and about his life. Very bad of the people who are bad mouthing about him.
