These days you dudes so thirsty for success ya’ll act like anyone that did something is the greatest ever. When back in the day nobody was even mentioning these dudes because there were better producers. None of his albums are classics. No body is scanning album covers to see if he produced tracks. Nobody is mentioning DJ Quick when they list the top 5 best producers in hip hop. He wouldn’t even be on a top 10 list. Say what yah want but it’s true. DJ Quick isn’t DRE,Tim,Neptunes,Rick,Swizz,Justblaze,Kanye,40 etc etc. His songs ain’t getting number 1 chart positions. His songs aren’t getting album singles. His songs are like track 9 on a 30 song album of better music. Say what you want but you know damn well DJ Quick didn’t make any of the beats you got on your iTunes top 100 playlist. So stop the cap. ⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠@@MyNameJeff..a avg at best interface with simple pres that truly aren’t anything special and nothing I’d use with an actual good mic. Not as if it’s a brauner vm1 going into shelford channel, 8801, retro or a basic 6176 then into lynx or better converters. For $3 sounds better than most cheap mics but with the usual issues, too much sibilance, lack of mids but with proper treatment I could definitely make it sound better and as much as I hate an 87 vocally I could make it work. Impart a lush pre like a m72 into a retro sta and it’ll sound great but that’s a waste of a chain with a $3 mic.

He already did make a video comparing the real v fake. And I don’t care how good your voice is, a bad mic will ruin a great take and make you frustrated. There’s a reason people pay good money for a great mic…they want a sound as true and/or pleasing to the human ear as possible, crappy mics cannot do that. The difference between the AI and the TEMU is the TEMU has slightly less body, cheaper construction(which you will not hear through speakers) and it’s slightly smaller than an AI. I’ve actually seen others preview this fake AI and consistently people have been surprised at how good they sound.
