You do a great job of articulating what’s happening in the game, I like to listen in to games radio style so your videos always get me excited.

I gotta say. I'm not really into bolt action or historical wargames in general, but dayum. This was nice to watch. Great Video!

You can tell that you’re having fun playing/shooting these BR. Beautiful minis, nice terrain and smooth narration…👌 And some of the shots, like the squad lining up in the street at 08:30🤩. Very immersive. It really gives you that itch to start Bolt Action, but it’s so terrain intensive. I already struggle with storage for Necromunda😅. Besides, it’s much easier to scratch build terrain for Necromunda. So budget wise, I guess the entry point is lower for Necromunda (surprisingly for a GW game).

The green screen / dice tray thing made me think my laptop screen was cracked for a second - apart from that i really like the production of these Batreps.

🤣 Yeah I try to incorporate the rolls without it taking up picture space. And if I show them on the table the report becomes 40 minutes instead of 25.

A suggestion for improving the filming: during a shooting action put the camera behind and over the shoulders of the shooters in a way that the target is also visible, this should do wonders for immersion. In general having all the miniatures that are involved in the action in the same shot would make the whole thing much more clear.

An excellent battlereport. Only lacks some discussion afterwards of why units were deployed and did that they did, but well done for everything else.

I really enjoy your battle reports. It was nice to see this very engaged fight. My first V3 game did not have much action; cover saves really saved too many units. What size board did you play on?
@MiniatureGameMontage5 күн бұрын
@@duncanmcewen4922 thanks! normally a 6x4. This scenario really forces the action because both sides are fighting over the middle.

Love the video. Instead of "...German's left flank" could you put a compass rose on the table, and refer to directions as North/South/East/West?

You've got the filming and pacing of the action down, I just wish you could add a bit more of your tactical thinking/thought process as well as your two personalities into the video.

Thanks! It's hard to get everything squeezed into the time. Maybe a turn recap with thoughts/results, arrows pointing things out, etc. Thanks for the feedback.
