I was actually hoping to see the bolt insert into the nut. good tutorial though! thanks ;) p.s. I use autodesks coolOrange to realistic model the thread.

It's actually good

thread on end of the bolt is blocked. this imposible for normal screwing nut (usualy it's defect of production). Look on right-top of bolt's thread (time 12:04 on video)

Ithan Nobody From the front view it is looking so. The thread has been cut using the Inventor tool not produced in the factory. Get the model file by visiting our blog and open it in the software check it and comment back....

My autodesk inventor profissional 2014 doesn't have the thread modeler..
@niveshandnisheeth10 жыл бұрын
That is an external application which you have to install separately. Visit the Content List of our blog and open the the link named 'Creating a Realistic Thread (Autodesk Inventor 2013)' on that page we have mentioned the procedure to get the aforesaid application. niveshandnisheeth.blogspot.com/2014/01/content-list.html

***** Is the thread still just graphical or it will be identified as threads on DWG format so my CNC centar can read and make it? Thank you.
@niveshandnisheeth10 жыл бұрын
They will not be just graphical. They are realistic as cut by coil tool. You can watch our new video discussing the same thing.... Thread Cutting in Bolt and Nut (Video Tutorial with Audio Narration) Autodesk Inventor

"Thread" makes a picture of threads, its only a cosmetic picture. To make actual 3d threads you need to use "coil".
