Was introduced to Bolt Thrower by my friend Brian 6 years ago. First song Bolt Thrower song I ever heard was Honour from this same album, and I was hooked, but my most played have been Mercenary and Those Once Loyal until a couple months ago when I decided to dabble into Honour, Valour, Pride. Suffice it to say, I cannot stop blasting the album nonstop in my car. The shift at ~3:00, and then the drilling guitar riff at 3:37 is spine-chilling in a good way. Wish I was into metal when they were still playing. 🤟

i recently heard a interview, only a year old not long after Martin passed, saying they made their music in the same vein because that's what their fans wanted. Fans didn't want them to change up every album they felt. And imho they were damn right on! The dude even says it. @autentyk: it's simple, BT is unique. There is no other band like BT. I often listen to Opeth, old Hypocrisy, Slayer, Morbid Angel, Edge of Sanity with Dan Swano.... etc. but the sound, and the raw brutality of BT is unmatched! So there are a lot of good bands, but BT rulez'em all.

@@mercatorjubio3804 Jo's Ironbird is USA Custom Shop (she used a red NJ made in Japan long time ago, with only one P pickup), the one she uses in this video has two. I had a Japanese NJ2 model with DiMarzio PJ pickups and the infamous multilaminated neck (200 layers of wood), had a lot of neck dive but sounded awesome, wish I had it yet.

@@JuanIparraguirre Yeah, I also had a very old Ironbird NJ Series bass with that large 4L headstock. That's one bass I wish I didn't sell a long time ago. The build quality was superb. I own a couple of guitars from that later NJ Series with these widow headstocks. They are also very good quality. However I changed the pickups to EMG. Amazing what kind of sound both guitarists get out of those rather subpar stock humbuckers.
