21 years later and still brings a lump to my throat and a tear to the eye, embroiled with great pride of course. Oh for those days again, Born to be a Wanderer we will never die

A Liverpool supporter from abroad here. From what I see Bolton did win fair and square. That guy David Lee looks like a World Cup player. Great pace, touch and vision, simply a joy to watch!

Love watching this! Andy Walker is my uncle. Told me so much about the wonderful club, I am definitely a wanderers fan because of him :)

Back in the day Ben your uncle was simply known in the manny road and burnden terrace as GOD - him and super john up front was the best two forward partnership i've seen at Bolton in my 50 years folowing the whites the football we played under Bruce was out of this world - you should be very proud of your uncle coz we Bolton fans certainly was of him playing for the wanderers

Hi Ben, Playing for Celtic may have understandably been his dream, but they couldn't have loved him as much as we did.

Bolton played really well over the two games, but my goodness we were awful that season. Injury hit, poor signings, loads of youngsters, it was a mess.

How david lee didn't get a move to a premiership club is criminal. Terrorised Liverpool
@simonpinkerton49052 жыл бұрын
As a Wanderers season ticket holder for over 35yrs, David Lee was wildly inconsistent. He had pace, but no real quality delivery from the touchline. He was infuriating, but on any given matchday, could put the the team on his back.

It’s sad and unbelievable that in the space of 2 years Liverpool went from extraordinary to down right mediocrity. Liverpool’s decline was gut wrenching.6>1 Amen. Liverpool had some really bad defenders then,taken apart at ease by Bolton who were in a lower division. Liverpool we’re thrashing around in 11th place in the league,out of the Rumbelows Cup ,out of the Cup Winners Cup and now the FA Cup,they were in a shocking state under Souness.
