We are lucky to be well rehearsed in traveling so we could react to the circumstances in the best way possible! It was uncomfortable for sure but we never felt out of control, which is a good thing! I can’t say we were smiling the whole time, but when we were joking about wearing flip flops in the blizzard, it was a good reflection on where our heads were at! There is only so much you can control, and you just have to make the best of any given situation! I haven’t heard of Katrin Pfitzenreiter!! I will have to check out her channel. Yes!! I think we are good on travel complications for a while!! Maybe the universe was trying to give them all to us at once so we were clear for a while 🤣 The airline industry in the US is a mess right now for real. I don’t know if it’s had an effect on other parts of the world yet..but dang. Between the weather and the staffing issues, they are having a hard time! I just hope they don’t start sacrificing safety to get all their planes off the ground! 😬 And yes, KZbin magic!!! The TV and News industry have a new challenge on their hands!! KZbinrs making NEXT LEVEL content with a tiny fraction of the budget!!! They don’t even know what’s coming!!!!

Yes! So many people have been effected by that storm. The airlines are still playing catch up it seems! It was amazing to be able to document it from the travelers perspective. I know the news reported about it, but it’s just different seeing what people really had to do to get to their destinations.

Yes, the way we navigated all the flight changes was amazing!! That is the one good thing about sticking with the same airline! They can see how much we fly with them and they will do whatever they can to help you out when you need it!!! Otherwise we would have been stuck in rainy Washington DC for Christmas. It wouldn’t have been the end of the world, but not ideal either!

Wow it snowed so much!! 😮 It snowed for me a bit to and lots of flights were cancelled too! Aw that grandpa bag is nice! You guys went through a crazy adventure with flights being cancelled and bags being lost! That hot cocoa bar is nice! That escalator for the shopping carts is so cool & they really should have them here. That's good you guys got your stuff & hope you guys had fun during the skiing!

Aww, Grandpa is awesome. love that idea. You girls are really good travelers, even with all the detours and missed flights. Ugh, not a cancellation. you literally flew over my house. At least you can hang in the lounge. would have been worse if you had to be in the main gate. mmm, hot cocoa! We had a escalator for carts in the kmart by our old house. but that was the only one i knew of in the states. Merry Christmas

Yes! They love their little grandpa surprise bags! And the lounge access is a life saver! It makes travel so much more comfortable. And we love that they always have healthy food options which can be hard to come by in the main areas of the airport.

Yes!!! It was such an experience!! It’s ironic how people see the travel lifestyle as a “vacation.” But it’s never really a vacation!! It’s actually really challenging to manage all the ups and downs! We are always inspired by travel though, so the challenges are worth it to us!
