Killer tune! Back in the late 1980s when I was still new to reggae I remember walking into Trade Roots Reggae in San Diego, Elliot (owner) was the biggest Don Carlos fan so he was playing this tune (who would know years later I'd be buying CD's straight from Don Carlos?).. Later when I starting selling/distributing reggae I remember Elliott ordering 6-8 copies of Day To Day Living on CD once every couple weeks from me .I ended up shipping over 800 copies of that CD to that small store on 4th St over a 5 year period! Those were the good old days! Anything early 80s sells like mad in the San Diego area! Elliot used to make trips to JA and bring back loads of wicked 1980s LPs - I got so many goodies from that shop back in 1985-1990! I miss reggae shops! Anyone else out there used to raid all the shops back in the day? Trade Roots, Ashantites, Barton's, Reggae Intl...and Lou's (still there!), Aron's, Rhino...
