Hi Shantanu & Joy, Need help! I have been shaving for the past 8 years with Gillette mach3/fusion pro glide and recently when I saw the benefits of using single blade vs multi blade, I tried BSC DE razor. After two attempts, here are my impressions. The mild clamp is practically useless. Even with a sharp blade, it still, in patches leaves hair follicles untouched after 4-5 strokes. The aggressive clamp on the other hand is way too aggressive. Feels like a sword running on the skin and leaves a whole lot of nicks, cuts and blood. The last two shaves have been really bloody, tbh. Can you share any suggestions? am I using it the wrong way or did I get a defective product? I'd really appreciate it.

Bombay shaving body yogurt such a wonderful moisturizer but it's very underrated product , i dont know why they don't promote this product. That is my Favourite products in their all range .

Hi Joy, I'm not sure what I'm missing. I bought the complete set for Bombay shaving. With the mild clamp, I am unable to shave much, all the beard remains. Three-four passes and still the same. I can never get a clean shave. With the aggressive clamp, the roughness is unbearable. Around the chin area it is just pure painful. I switched to Wilkinson sword blade with the aggressive clamp combination and it's much better. But I still feel I'm missing something here. I tried all angles with the mild clamp, but I cannot get a close shave. I have been going at it since 6 months now, but still not getting it right. I shave everyday and can't afford to spend too much shaving going through with multiple passes and preps, etc. I feel the razor has a problem, should I switch to pearl L55?

hey joy, i just bought the pearl new L-55 rose gold one, with 2 head types open and close, its a wonderful product. i bought it your review, thanks. i really like your videos. i have recently started DE shaving, glad i left the cartridges behind. you reviewed the rozia brush, how is the rozia r059, should i buy that or the pearl S BB 11SY, please advise, i am looking forward to replacing my run of the mill gilette brush. i prefer synthetic brushes which lather more.

I've used bombay shaving company's razor when it was new....it came out quite mild for me.....with feather blade...its good...but it requires very sharp blade like 7'o clock permasharp Or black ones.....after using it for a while I would say it's a great razor for beginners and guys with sensitive skin

Joy Shaving forgot to mention that i have been using straight razor for a couple of months now. So still BSC razor holds a good option for me? Even i was planning to buy that only but after seeing your videos i came to like the usage of open and close comb razors. Very Good content sir! Not seen any Indian channel doing the shaving content.. I have been using the cartridge type razors from many years and was always scared to move to DE type razors as I've seen my grandfather cut himself 😂. Was never happy with cartridge razors like gillette mach 3 and vector. Decided to move to the DE razors, so I'm new to this..
