Someone has taught your pitchers the correct way to pitch. Do you get private pitching lessons or is someone on your team played high level baseball. My high school coach told me to never walk a man. He would rather me put it down the middle and see how far they can get it. Plus once you establish that you are going to throw strikes it puts great pressure on the batter. And it makes the Ump job easier as he knows you are going to throw strikes and you will steal a few calls a game. also someone has taught y'all not to panic and stick with the ball.

Size of the field is a significant adjustment. Bases are 1.5 times longer. That's a problem for slower runners and for arm strength to throw them out. Also, pitchers have a significantly longer throw giving batters more time to decide requiring better pitching. Outfield is huge. Lots of grass to drop a ball in. Plus the fence is way out there. Long ball hitters have to get used to more inside the park hits. Plus hitters have to hit much harder to clear the infield. Add all of that to only one year left of USSSA bats.
