Nah, dinosaur or not, this game remains for me as an absolute classic and i have so many good memories playing this game with my friends when we were really young. Really glad to see you cover this game at last. And wow, this is the first time i learn there are bonus items like the Goddess Mask and the Cola Bottle that you can get that increases your points after seeing your playthrough and i never even knew these bonus items existed. You really learn new things with these old games everyday.

Classic yes, but having access to the later games, it is kind of hard to pull this one to play sometimes. Bomberman 2 on NES (or in my case, the Famicom version as it was way cheaper), is when things started to get good with the series.

The start of something great. I got freaked out by the coin enemies that appear to kill you if time runs out IIRC. I'd love it if a collection was released on the Switch, it would be lovely to play the Saturn games you've showcased in the past.

This game, with the 4-player adapter, was one of the most entertaining games I've ever played. Up there with Mariokart and Goldeneye... hours of fun

Always loved this game. I would purposely die down to my last life onthe first level so I can get the blast extension multiple times. Just helped with speeding the game along on later levels.

it´s funny because the first time i played this was a hack version called "Toy Story" (you play as Woody instead of Bomber Man) without knowing the original game.

I love the soundtrack of bomberman so iconic When I played it everything was easy but then it became difficult for me to pass the end of the game Instead it's the best bomberman video game I've ever played. 😢

Here are my grades of Bomberman for the NES: Graphics: A (considering that this was made in 1987, this is quite good) Sound/Music: A (considering that this was made in 1987, this is quite good) Gameplay: B+ (I know I am a little bit spoiled (probably because I played Super Bomberman 1 and 2's battle mode too much), but yes, this is very good) Replay Value: A- (I would be fine with playing this) Extras: Um.....passwords.....that counts, right? Overall: A- (Okay, fine....I am probably a little bit spoiled due to playing Super Bomberman 1 and 2 a lot - especially their battle modes - but Bomberman for the NES is still fun anyway) I will say that the gameplay can be a bit slow due to being able to gain only one power-up at a time - but I can overlook that, as I have played both Bomberman '93 and Bomberman '94.

Yeah, I know it took awhile for me to finally upload it, but I have done videos for like a gazillion other Bombermans over the years. I think around 20 or so? Dunno why I waited so long with the original though.
