Even in the uk, our child services have failed on multiple occasions. Baby P was one of the worst stories to be told of neglect and abuse, which child services allowed to go to far. They think if the child is fed and watered, a roof over there head and no immediate danger to the child safety. That only warnings will be given. It's so wrong as the young girl is a sponge, and her adult life has already been weaved. It's a sad reality that doesn't same to break the cycle

Hang on ... Melatonin is only prescribed for kids by a specialist paediatrician after all other avenues have been exhausted. In UK its a controlled class C drug. It is a short term resolution to help with sleep in diagnosed neurodiverse children. The neurodiverse brain doesn't know how to shut down to sleep as it doesn't produce melatonin naturally. All the melatonin does is aid the process to get to sleep - it doesn't keep them asleep - if they wake up after a few hours they won't just go back to sleep again 🤦‍♀️ It's not recommended for children under age 8. IF Lynette is giving the child melatonin for ODD (oppositional defiance disorder) it's being used incorrectly- its not going to work unless it's being used in conjunction with behavioural correction and consistent parenting with positive reinforcment, and stimulating extra curricular activities.

As we were walking out of the courtroom he walked up.behind me and said. I may not be there today or tomorrow but one day I will be. make sure you look over your shoulder. I went into a restaurant many many years later to pick up a sandwich on my way out of town. He was there. I walked out without picking up my sandwich drove to the least used part of the building and fell apart I will never help with any court cases for jury trial ever. I have refused to be on three jury trials since that happened because of this incident. I found out later that the atty for me that day was being blackmailed by my x.
