Zhao Yue deserved her spot in the group, I don't care how rigged Zhang Yifan was, I like her. You've never seen Zhao Yue's actual skills, look at her SNH48 stages and you'll understand. She trained in Chinese traditional dance and is extremely talented as you can see in her stages like 重力, 外婆桥 etc. none of the other members could pull off her dancing she does. There is a reason why Zhao Yue is way more popular in China than the other members during Chuang 2020, she had a total of 6+ million Weibo followers at the start of Chuang 2020 and when YTSN303 formed she had around 7 million while the other members were only around the 1-3 million mark. Zhao Yue has also retrieved training in South Korea and Japan, she is extremely talented but the script in Chuang 2020 edited her out, Chinese fans complain about it all the time because Chuang 2020 didn't show her true abilities.

Zhao Yue has basically 10 years of experience in the Chinese Entertainment Industry as well (7 years when she was competing), she debuted in SNH48 in 2013 and slowly made her way up through her talents and skills, ranking 6th place in SNH48's 2019 Senbatsu Election, meaning she's extremely popular. She has the talent and the skills to debut in YTSN303, don't say she has no talent if you refuse to see her skills.

The reason she chose to perform the dance she performed was because the information relayed to SNH48 at that time was that the first evaluation was a "Show your personal strengths" dance and not a "Strongest Dancer" evaluation. She chose to perform Gravity by GNZ48 because Gravity was a stage that was gifted to her from her fans so she wanted to return that gift by performing it on a major Chinese television network.

@@lina-eh6lj There is literal proof of Zhao Yue changing her first evaluation dance just a few days before the shooting of Chuang 2020, and you can see this on the SNH48 x Chuang 2020 reality show on BiliBili. Zhao Yue ended up condensing the dance of Gravity into 1 minute even though the original performance is almost 5 minutes and a lot harder, you can see the original dance if you search up Zhao Yue Gravity SNH48 on KZbin. The original dance shows her actual true capabilities but she had to sacrifice a lot of the different parts due to the time restriction of 1 minute.
