Super fun! I adore Bon Echo. We did one of the cabins at Bonnechere and we had 2 bedrooms, it's amazing!

I love staying at camp cabins! I haven't been to Bon Echo yet (my trip got cancelled a few years back due to torrential thunderstorms!) but I need to make my way back there :)

It's one of my favourite parks. Lots to do and easy to spend a few days there.

This is Really cool, is there a place we can access the schedule for nature experiences at bonecho park? would love to meet a turtle and learn a few things :D

A lot of the time events are just listed on information in the park. You can usually ask for the schedule when you arrive. They may list some events on the website though during summer: www.ontarioparks.com/park/bonecho/events

Have a great trip! Unfortunately I don't recall the location of the water but it's not far. I believe you can also find maps with that info on the Ontario Parks website, and otherwise the maps on site show all the water and other amenities.

The lake is way over developed..I grew up there 60 years ago... ( way too many cottages) it used to be really great fishing but not any more = fishing pressure from thousands of visitors thanks to Bon Echo. To get Lake trout you gotta go deep at the north end basin (northwest of the rock) but still not that great!! Ministry will not stock the lake for good reason! If you want a real camping and fishing experience come to the north shore of Superior and head inland!! =awesome remote fishing and total serine camping experiences.
