There are dozens of other covers with insanely overproduced videos, but none of the actually play it correctly. Plus your voice is amazing. Extremely well done man, kudos on crushing a great cover of a hard song

They play it correctly, they just don't use Nashville tuning like the original because that would mean they would need to change the strings just for this one song. (Nashville or high-strung tuning refers to the practice of replacing the wound E, A, D and G strings on a six-string guitar with lighter gauge strings to allow tuning an octave higher than standard.)

+Ibrahim Altunbulak you need strings from a 12 string guitar. What you do is leave the E and B the way they are and then you tune the G, D, A, and E all one octave up that is why you need the 12 string guitar strings, if you do this with regular strings they will break.

This song moved me in so many ways... Kept me sane and alive through things that shojldn't. Melody that intertwines two guitars into one, background percussions, winds and flutes floating by like time itself.. Perfectly complimenting the beautiful lyrics. All just caressing your soul, soothing it into a beautiful state of happu sadness or sad happiness depending on your initial state of mind, it just balances it out. And then here comes two random dudes in a room and recreate that magic... The same magic albeit different. I had to listen to it dozens of time back to back just to appreciate it even more every time. Thanks j. Vernon for writing it. and thank you warren for doing this. Giving it another spirit but keeping its soul. That's a feat.

That's because he is simply the only person on KZbin who was not afraid to go to the store and purchase the Nashville Strings necessary to play this song properly. I did that as well and it's a world of difference. Every other cover online here is far off, except this one which is exactly how Justin recorded it.
